The Bentwater® POA works throughout the year to plan events and activities that appeal to residents of all ages.
FOURTH OF JULY
Each year, the POA co-hosts a July 4th celebration at the Bentwater® Yacht and Country Club. The day is filled with a variety of activities designed for residents of all ages, and the day concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.
COMMUNITY AWARENESS DAY
Each year, the POA plans and coordinates Community Awareness Day. The purpose of the event is to increase community awareness of federal, state and local services and facilities. Targeted groups are invited to communicate relevant, useful information on an informal basis to our property owners.
The theme of the Community Awareness Day event changes each year. Past events have included Public Agencies and Facilities, Non-Profit Organizations in Montgomery County, Fun Things to Do in Montgomery County and a Garden, Travel & Boat Show.
WINTER HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR
Each year, property owners and their guests gather to officially kick off the holiday season. This fun and excitement of this spectacular event increases each year and includes an old-fashioned tree-lighting, a visit from Santa, games for the kiddies complete with cookies and hot chocolate. It will be held early evening on Friday, December 3, 2004 at the Bentwater® Country Club .
