What are the names of the local newspapers?

How do I get a key to my mailbox?

Call the Montgomery Post Office, 936-597-4222.

Who do I contact to report problems?

Common area and other POA issues can be reported at the POA office by calling 936-597-5532 or email dcleboski@amitx.com. Trash and other utility concerns should be reported to the respective providers. See Helpful Community Information.

Where do I find the deed restrictions?

A copy of the deed restrictions for a specific section (they vary from section to section) is usually provided to the new property owner at closing. Additional copies are available at the POA office for a fee of $20.

When are my assessments due and for what period?

Annual assessments are due July 1st of each year.This assessment covers the 12 month period beginning July 1st and ending June 30th of the next year.

Is there a notary in the area?

A notary is available in the POA office from 8 to 5 Monday thru Friday. Fees are established by TX Govt. Code Ann. 406.024 and typically range from $6 up. Please call 936-597-5532 for appointment.

Where can I get a map of the subdivision?

Complimentary written street directions are available at front gate from the Entrance management Department. Subdivision maps are available from the POA office for a fee of $2

How do I get a decal for my new car?

Appear in person at the POA office with your vehicle and auto insurance or vehicle registration reflecting your current Bentwater® registered address.

ARCHITECTURAL FEE SCHEDULE

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC), an independent entity appointed by the Declarant, is comprised of licensed architects, engineers and other professionals and reviews all plans. The POA acts as administrator for the ACC.

Capital Reserve Contribution Transfer Fee - 40% of annual maintainance fee - Payable to Bentwater® POA (due at closing)

Transfer fee $150 - $100 payable to Bentwater® POA and $50 payable to Association Management, Inc. (due at closing) OR

Refinance Fee $125 - $100 payable to Bentwater® POA and $25 payable to Association Management, Inc. (due at closing)

Resale Certificate - By request only - $225 - Payable to Bentwater® POA (due upon receipt)
