Important Update Regarding The SJRA meetings!

The Bentwater POA, Bentwater Civic Association, and the Bentwater Country Club have partnered together to provide transportation and red shirts to Bentwater residents who have registered to attend either/both of the important SJRA meetings on January 21 and February 20.  It is expected that these meetings will determine whether or not the anticipated future lowering of Lake Conroe will take place.

There are presently 116 people registered for January 21 and 61 registered for February 20.  It is imperative that every resident who wants to attend register on the POA website to insure that we have enough buses.  Online registration through the Bentwater POA website will close at 3pm on Monday, January 20th.  Please make sure you have signed up BEFORE then.

The bus will load near the mailboxes by the sports club.  Please try to carpool or take your golf cart to allow as many cars as possible to park there.

Plan to arrive by 4:00 PM for an on-time departure of 4:30 PM.  The convention center is expected to be full because of buses arriving from April Sound, Walden, Bentwater, Kingwood and other communities, so it is important that we leave ON TIME to be guaranteed entry.

Red shirts have been ordered in a variety of sizes and are designed to fit over regular clothing.  Shirts will be given to riders when they board the bus.

Traffic & Safety Committee Wednesday, January 8, 2020

Bentwater Traffic Control and Safety Ad Hoc Committee

The Board of Trustees has drafted and approved a committee charter for the Bentwater Traffic Control and Safety Ad Hoc Committee.  The charter may be accessed by clicking here (you must be logged into the POA website).  This property-owner staffed committee will assist the Board of Trustees in addressing common traffic control and safety issues which impact vehicular and pedestrian traffic on our streets and at our entrances.  If you are interested in participating in developing responses to issues and concerns related to traffic control and safety in Bentwater please send your interest and qualifications to the Board via Joy Gage at

The Board considers traffic safety in Bentwater a high priority and, as such, we hope to have the committee empaneled by mid-January so that their work can begin right away.

We appreciate all who are willing to serve and thank you for your interest in this initiative.
